I have really only looked in to samsung but a old man has asked me which one of these would be the one to go for - or another one.

Sony BRAVIA KDL46X4500 or Toshiba 46SV685DB

Thought i would was post and ask you guys while i carry on researching.

Although I can't really comment on the Toshiba, I am extremely impressed with my new KDL46X4500. My jaw literally dropped when testing it out with a few Blurays. It's the best TV i've ever had the pleasure of watching that's for sure! You'll have to be quick though, as I don't think there are many left.
