Guys,
Just bought the above and also the Sony RDR-HXD890, when I do an automatic scan on these neither of them find ITV 1 or Channel 4, its finds them on analog though, my last TV found these ok so I would not think its the signal..

..Hope you can help

I'm afraid it has to be the strength of your signal. First of all check your internal aerial cable and sockets. Sometimes things become partially disconnected when they are moved.
Some makes/models of tv are more sensitive than others and it is not uncommon for someone to buy a new set to find they can no longer get what they used to on an old Freeview box. I'm not sure when switchover is coming to your part of the world. When it does the strength of the Freeview signal will be stepped up considerably. Until then you are faced with considering improving your aerial.
