Hi Ash, welcome to the forums.

As a hint, it may be useful if you posted details of what kit you are trying to connect, then people will be able to give you a better idea of how to connect it all up.

If you're after settings for picture then there's plenty to choose from on the Owners thread, I've also had PM's from several people who got very good results with mine. Don't worry about using the service menu for now.

Also bear in mind these sets look better after a couple of days of use, so don't get disheartened if the picture isn't perfect from the minute you turn it on.

    Cheers

    Tony

    cheers tony

    ok

    at the moment im hooking it up to;

an aerial - freeview & normal tv

a yamaha ax-2 - ive had it a while and it may get updated - with kef fronts, centre & a yamaha sub - no rears at the mo -

    a pioneer laserdisc - don't ask

    a panasonic dmr-hs2 multiregioned dvd/hdd machine

all i did last night was pull the old tv out of the way and plug in this one the same (using scarts), with the exception of adding in a monster 800 power supply thing (freebie from comet!)

i have a lg hdmi dvd hopefully turning up before the end of the week and will probably have a good go at getting it set up right then

the room is approx 6m X 6m with a ceiling height of 2.7m, the set is in a corner - i know, but i like being married!.

was thinking of a yamaha sound projector as a future purchase

this is all a kind of stop gap until i can complete my cinema room which is currently an empty cellar with no floor

must say i registered on here ages ago and have found the info available very helpful so far

    cheers

    ash.
