interesting , 2 supplier have tried to get this for me and failed. Was about £120 with VAT & delivery. The part number should have been just the T-CON board but got the rest of the panel for free! It came direct from Sony. The large box even had the T-CON part number on it despite the fact it was a whole screen.
Serial No : 4013973Yes, Sony do know about it - I've told them and so have many of the people above. We already know about the T-CON board but it may be an integral part of the panel (I never took my D3000 to bits).
Post manufacturing date and I'll add you to the list.
Presumably the original panel still didn't work with the new T-CON you purchased? If you Google that part number (178979612) there are a few suppliers for this part in UK who can order it specially. In fact I tried purchasing this and ended up with a whole new panel despite the fact the T-CON can be removed. After fitting the new panel TV was perfect again.
Yes that's the T-CON board. Its part of the panel and hidden behind the cover. I tried replacing the T-CON with a used one from another TV but it didn't work. Not sure if I got it right. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
First of all, T-CON board is a circuit board behind the screen, from which 2 flat silvery ''cabels'' come to the two circuitboards that are both connected to the screen with multiple ''cables''??
Second of all, If my screen is 1-802-411-11 or 1-802-411-12 the problem is most likely in the TCON?
And last, if I manage to order part 178979612 I'll get the new panel AND TCON?
How did you get that? If I Google the part number I'll get prices like 400pounds, even from a SONY ,comWas about £120 with VAT & delivery.
