For Sale:

Both these items are just short of 4 years old, purchased together at end of November 2017 from a nearby respected franchise dealer. The extended Screen Warranty runs until 28.11.2022

They are both in immaculate condition, with no visible marks and no visible screen burn or artefacts. (The TV has a Sony built-in in programme facility for Screen-Clean,but which has been rarely used.)

Furthermore, our household is a “smoke free and child-free zone”!

Both these devices have their own Remote Controls.

I am selling only because I wish to upgrade, otherwise I have been totally delighted at this fantastic set-up from the get-go.

A note about my set-up: The TV, whilst being able to stand alone on the “curiously iconic” Sony “lean-back A Frame” method (the rear support leg being the built-in “dual bass module”), would need the TV screen to be raised a few inches off the top support-stand shelf, if using a soundbar on the same shelf, to avoid obscuring a small section of the bottom edge of the screen . See the attached images for a better idea. So I obtained a very attractive Alphason Lithium low level support stand. When using this, one also needs an an Alphason optional vertical support bracket onto which the TV itself is mounted…(again.. see the attached images.) This arrangement makes for a very neat support arrangement ,which allows plenty of adjustment opportunities, but once set in the desired configuration needs no further attention.

Regrettably I am not selling my own Alphason stand, since I shall need it for my upgrade!

There are no boxes or original packagings, therefore these items must be Collected Only… from Copthorne, Nr Crawley West Sussex.(Very close to Gatport Airwick)

Payment either in Cash on Collection or via Bank Transfer. I am asking £1500 for the package. (Original costs 4 years ago were £3500 for the TV and £1400 for the Soundbar)

Thanks for the advice. BTW..there is quite a significant difference between the 55 "and 65" Sony A1 models when they are new and indeed I have observed similar differences second hand.

I might be interested in just the TV if you were to split but would need to be at a much more reasonable price. Last sales on eBay started with £5.....

Thanks for that.. I am prepared to sell my two items separately.. but just wondered if you were serious about the starting price for the Sony 65A1 you saw on eBay! Not five quid, I am sure unless it was knackered, or for spares or something!! I have seen one recently starting at a thousand! And another one started at about 700 I seem to recall. These things cost 3.5K new.. Mine still has a years warranty on it. Let me know if you have a serious and proper offer! But thanks for your interest anyway! BW IP

Sounds like I need to be thinking about £650 for my Sony 65A1 then..
Thanks, would you mind confirming where the TV was purchased and if warranty is transferable.
If you could also PM me your post code so I could check how far from me you are .
