    Finally purchased a Sony BDPS370 Blu-ray.

Only concern I have is that I have a Yamaha non-hdmi Av receiver, I know I can connect via optical but already use that for my panny DMR EX77. Question is How am I gonna put my Blu-ray through my Av receiver with only the one optical input already being used?

Does your av receiver have a coaxial digital input, as the 370 also has one of these too...

On closer inspection it appears I have 2 Optical inputs - doh!! It also has Coaxial yes.

    The model is Yamaha RX-V396RDS

So the best route will be for HDMI lead from BDPS370 to Plasma and optical to AV reciever???

If your receiver has two optical inputs you will be fine. If it has one optical and one coaxial input you can use the coaxial output from the player to the receiver - the results will be the same...either /or...
