I'm looking for some advice on an audio issue I'm having. I have this Sony blu-ray player that is outputting video and audio through HDMI to an Epson wireless transmitter (for a projector). The wireless transmitter has an optical audio out which goes to an Arcam irDAC and then a stereo hi-fi.

My issue is that on some discs, I only have the option of surround audio (only the front two channels can be heard through my speakers) or stereo audio that has audio description on it. I have tried changing all sorts of audio options on blu-ray player but had no success. Here are the available settings:
Audio Settings - Sony BDP-S7200 Operating Instructions Manual [Page 29]

If anyone has any ideas, I'd appreciate it. And yes, there is a coaxial out on the blu-ray player but there is too much video delay on my projector to use the coax out, even with the sound delay adjusted to maximum on the blu-ray player. Thanks.

Yes, I've tried that too but it hasn't made a difference unfortunately.
