My 22" sony TV has suddenly stopped functioning properly. There is sound but no image but if I shine a torch at it I can see the picture.
This seems to suggest that the backlight inverter has gone.
I can buy the transformer from ebay but realistically my soldering won't be up to replacing that so I'm after the whole board. Nothing on ebay for a while.
    Model is kdl - 22bx200.
Can anyone suggest a source of these boards? Otherwise it will have to be replaced and I hate doign that when it is only a small portion that has died.

Do accounts get deleted after a while? I had one a couple of years ago but it couldn't be found.

    many thanks in advance

Thanks Jaycee. They show 2 inverter boards for my model, neither in stock sadly. I've left a message so I'll wait and see.

I've just pulled the back off the unit to find a manufacture date of 4/10. It barely lasted 5 years. Surely that's poor even by today's standards?
