Hi All.
I have a Sony STR-DH520 AVR in my cinema room. It's connected to my Optima projector.
Yesterday I connected my Macbook air to the AVR for the first time and couldn't get audio. (Normally, if i connect the MBA to a device it auto detects and works no problem).
In the display settings, the AVR is detected as a display. Strangely, in Audio settings it only gives the option for the MBA speakers. So it isn;t recognising it as an audio device.
I also had a very similar issue (that I haven't resolved) with my Samsung blurry player connected to the AVR. This leads me to believe it's something related to the STR-DH520.
Has anybody had this or similar issues with the Sony AVR's?
Advice appreciated.
