Sony AV receivers and DMP - TDM-IP10

Hi

Are the digial media port adapters worth getting for connecting an iPod to Sony receivers. Thinking about getting the TDM-IP10 to connect to a dg820. Currently have the BOSE iPod docking station. Any other members use the TDM-IP10 with their amp?

I use a TDM-IP50 with my 2400ES.

I believe the TDM-IP10 was the original model now superceded by the IP50. I am not sure, but I believe the IP10 did not have on screen functionality.

I use my IP50 in conjunction my TV, Receiver & Harmony remote.

My original Apple dock had no remote etc, so I am very happy with the IP50.

It may have changed now but my biggest problem was getting hold of an IP50, they seemed to be in very short supply.

I can get the IP10 for £31. Seems like a good price.
Could possible sell the BOSE iPod docking station for £130-150.

That price does seem good however my belief, re on screen menu, which may be wrong, was important to me hence I tracked down an IP50.
