Sony announce new LCD technology

    Five times higher contrast ratio!!!!...does that mean we are looking at projectors with CR in the region of 30,000:1 (with iris)

    1: You think this will be an industry wide technology that will we incorporated into other BIG brand products (as I assume they all working to similar goals)

    2: Dam, Now do I buy a new projector to upgrade now, or stick with what I have for another 18 months!!!!!!!!!!
