I saw the product blurb emails and did wonder if it was just a tarted up Nex 7 so will be interested to see how much better in practice the new hybrid-AF layout works - when we see a real review that is.....

Agreed, we all know manufacturers love beefing up AF speed press releases.

My cameras fastest, no mine is, no mine is.... only when the sun is out. None of them actually release stats of tricky light AF speed.

Because every NEX-7 & NEX-6 owner is screaming out for an upgrade - not a single one of them said ever.
When will Sony learn...............less bodies more lenses ***.

We are 4 years since release and there is still no NEX equivalent of a decent UWA, no 35mm f1.4, no 50mm f1.4, no good standard zoom options and they still seem insistent on sticking a Zeiss badge on over priced, over sized lenses.

Until that is fixed Fuji will continue to trounce them and deservedly so.
