Sony 810 reciver questions

Can anybody advise if the Sony 810 receiver allows the HDMI video and audio signals to pass through when switched off so that you can just use the TV speakers only?

Also, does the Sony 810 provided a means of setting up the speakers correctly and provided the necessary sensor with the unit?

The STRDH810 has both HDMI passthrough in standby and inbuilt auto calibration. The calibration mic is included with the amp.

Thanks for the reply.

You say standby, does that mean that the amp is switched off but still have the power connected to the mains?
