Question Sony 75XD9405 - Small Issue But Big Impact

Hi All,

Had the set from new since 2016/17 and in essence I love the tv, no complaints apart from the laggy Android UI.

A few days back the voice search via remote stopped working on YouTube, but works everywhere else on the set. All other apps and the Google assistant work fine.

Done troubleshooting with Sony to no avail, factory resets, cache clearing, YouTube software rollback, hotspot wifi testing, remote resync - Tried about 13 different things.

Now this issue wouldn't bother me at all, however my parents are heavily reliant on this feature so it is essential for them.

Just wondering how to approach this with Sony as I'm 100% happy with the set, just this issue and the ramifications it has on my parents is a big issue.

I still have the 5 year warranty on it which expires next year if that makes any difference to your advice.
