Hi, does Sony DVP 730 DVD player supports DVD+RW format for playback? PS: I've burned some DVDs and they can play on my PC but not on the DVD player and they are DVD+RW.
According to this link it does support DVD+RW. However, it is known to be inaccurate and there can also country differences . http://www.videohelp.com/dvdplayers.php?DVDname=sony+730&Submit=Search&Search=Search&country=&orderby=Name&hits=25 Could you try another make of disc or even DVD-RW?.
If you can only use dvd+, and are using nero, you may be able to change the 'book type' to dvd-rom. I had to do this to get dvd+ to play on an old tosh.
I've tried DVD-RW but it still doesn't work. I'm affrain it may be because of the burning SW (DeepBurn). Can you recoment a decent DVD burning Freeware? Thanks
Try using Imgtool Classic. This can create a ISO image from a video_ts folder and then use DVD Decrypter in ISO write mode to burn it.
