I recently found out that I have the ability to purchase a sony t.v. from the u.s. line at 60% off. The total on this t.v. would be about $1000 should I buy this one or the z-series..etc. I am going for a 40inch because I want the 120hz.. I am also going to buy a blue-ray player at a discount of 40% So for about 180 for the bdps-350 or 240 for the 550 - is it worth getting the 550 just for the Decoder? I am in the midst of doing a full upgrade on my system and I guess this would enable me to buy an older reciever but is it worth it? The price of the onkyo 606 is only about $350 and I can get 40% off any of the sony recievers - making the cost of the 820 less than $200 and the 920 about $390 any opinions and/or input would be greatly appreciated!
