Sony 40W2000 has built in FreeView - can I utilise this somehow through a HTPC?

We own a Sony 40W2000 with built in freeview.

I'm planning on building a HTPC but just realised I'd need to get a seperate freeview box again.

Is there any way the freeview inside the Sony can be rerouted back to the HTPC.. and then back in again?

no,i wldnt have thought ur tv would have video out?

ur better off buying an internal PCI card for ur htpc :)

Yep, as above.

Even if the 40w could output the freeview as video, you'd still need a video capture card which would cost more and give a poorer quality recording.

A freeview card or USB dongle for your HTPC is one of the cheapest components.
