Hi there, Just upgraded to a 40" Sony from 32" Samsung and when I connect throught the HDMI Picture is perfect but regularly the picture drops and then refreshes so you get a second of black screen. Its as if the tv is polling to look for an input. First I thought it was a problem with the VM signal but after re-connecting Samsung its fine.
Anybody got any words of wisdom? Think it must be the TV but not sure what the problem is. Been throught the menus repeatedly ad can't find a thing.

I had the same problem with my Sony TV (46W4500) I changed the HDMI lead and all was fine.

OK thanks for that. Still using the original that came with the V+ box. Not sure of the quality though.

It should be more than adequate for the job. Worth checking with another one though.Never had any problem with a Virgin+ and my Sony 4000/32"

It will be the HDMI cable causing the problem. Change it for a decent one and all will be well.
