    Hi
Hope someone can help with some fairly basic advice.

I'm able to source through work a Sony PFM-32C1E plasma screen at a cracking price. It has a built in digital audio amplifier and optional speakers but no TV Tuner.

Can I use my Nicam video recorder as a TV tuner ie aerial into the back of the video and then out the the screen ?

Is the signal quality and therefore picture quality degraded by using this method ?

If not can someone suggest any alternative set up/config

I have heard of other users utilising a Sky digi box but this is not feasible in this instance

    Thanks

Yes you can, but most videos support only Composite which is really poor quality. An alternative might be to use this box the pro-v tuner box:

Just be wary of great deals like this, they tend to be missing other vital components/warranty.

    Regards,
    Neil.
