    Hi,

Is the Sony RDRHX1000 250GB HDD DVD Recorder out yet.

    I noticed at
    http://www.multizonedvd.co.uk/acatalog/SONY_RDRHX1000.html
    for £749.99

Are there any reviews out. Is there a link to the user manual anywhere.
How long have they been on the market.

Also does anyone know if and when the new Toshiba HDD recorders come out replacement for the RDXS-32.

The 60 GIG in my RDXS-30 is getting a bit small.

    Thanks for any information.

    Quinn

Why don't you just record onto dvd-r? free up some space. You can get disks for 30p a time if you buy in bulk, min 25 at a time. Cheaper than upgrading for the sake of a bigger HDD. ;) :)

The RDXS32 replacement - the 250GB/Freeview/HDMI equipped RDXS34 - is out in March. The Sony HX1000 models are just coming on the market now: general concensus is they look good: although the 2hr full resolution and lack of Flexible Record is disappointing.

A word of warning - you might find the Sony models somewhat restrictive after the RDXS30.

The answer is very simple and clear. No Possibilities Of Editting Of Recorded
Material ( In Video Mode ).
BTW. Do you like watching the recorded movies with some long advertisements in it ?

So edit before you dub to DVD-R - or dub to DVD-RAM if your unsure if you may want to archive later. DVD-RAM effectively acts as a removeable extension to your HDD.

Sorry I meant especially making a play list on HDD and the example I wrote was not the best one.
