Sony 20s2030 or Samsung 23R86 ?

Both can be had for similar money online and in kitchen friendly colours.

Samsung has 3 more inches but which has the better pic for sport?

Haven't seen both side by side and Currys had the 23R with a composite whilst the Sony had an HD feed which kind of spoilt the mental comparison..

Any owners able to shed some light?

Both very good. But the sony 20S is a better option, although samsung is 3" bigger!!The 23R8 owners report very poor and annoying vewing angles!!!(This is because of the panel). So the 20S is abetter option

Cheers Chris, I have a 40w2000 so was leaning towards Sony, but I'm thinking those 3 inches might make a difference!

However viewing angles will make no difference, the set will be wall mounted in a galley style kitchen, you won't be able to get more than 5 degrees away from dead on to the screen horizontally without bumping into the wall.
