Sonos to Bose Ipod dock

The specific query I have is related to using our existing Ipod dock with (potential) new Sonos system. From a quick Google search it seems I'm not the only one trying to do this...

Looking at the specs it seems to me that the ZP90 should work...??

I know some will say that I may as well buy another zone player, but at £200ish for a "90" doing this represents a £100 saving and means we continue to use something we already have :smashin:

Can anyone comment/confirm?

A bit vague there, or maybe its me.:)
Are you trying to send a Sonos stream to an Ipod/Phone?
If so, I don't think you can (someone else please correct me if I'm wrong). You can the other way though, Ipod to Sonos via the Sonos dock.

If its any consolation Squeezebox can stream to Ipod/phone etc via Ipeng.

Sorry! Was trying to keep it brief!
What I'm proposing is using the ipod dock as a set of speakers/zone, by connecting a zp90...

Hmmm...so a Play 3 can be had for £229, and a ZP90 for £219.......is the Bose going to give MUCH better sound than a Play 3, more equivalent to a Play 5??

Decisions, decisions...!!
