    Hi everybody!
First of all, sorry about my poor english. I write from Spain. I'm a new user of the NW-HD5. The "walkman" is ok, but I have many problems with the HORRIBLE Sonicstage!
I have installed the software in my PC and everytime y launch the program, I have an error. The problem is the OMGJBOX Module. Sometimes I can import some songs to the library and then... ERROR
Sometimes I transfer some songs to the NW-HD5... ERROR
Sometimes I launch the program and.. ERROR

I format my PC and reinstall windows (XP PRO SP2), but nothing changes

I tried to install sonicstage in my other PC (PIII 550) and I have errors too, but I can work with sonicstage for 5 or 10 minutes...

This is my version of sonicstage:
    SonicStage : 3.1.00.03220
SonicStage Add-on for ATRAC Audio Device : 3.1.00.03220
    OpenMG Secure Module : 4.1.00.13261
MagicGate Memory Stick Device : 4.1.00.13261
    NW-E2, NW-E3, NW-E5 and NW-E8P : 4.1.00.13261
    OpenMG CD : 4.1.00.13261
    MsPro : 4.1.00.13261
    CD Walkman : 4.1.00.13261
    Hi-MD : 4.1.00.13261
    Music Clip, NW-S4, NW-E7 and NW-E10 : 4.1.00.13261
    HDWM : 4.1.00.13261
    Net MD : 4.1.00.13261
    EMD Plug-in: 1.2.0.9
    Módulo de escritura de CD-R(Audio CD/ATRAC CD/MP3 CD) : 3.1.00.04110
    Px Engine: 2.2.50.500

I tried to install sonicstage 2.2, and it works!! I have no problems or errors, but this version doesn't recognize the NW-HD5 and I can't transfer songs to the player

Do you have the same problems? Any idea to solve this? What about your experiences? I HATE SONICSTAGE!!!
    Help please!

Get yourself a good registry key cleaner (like VCOM's SystemSuite one, which I use). I had this same problem, and it was solved by removing every last trace of my original SonicStage install from my PCs registry.

Give it a go - it can't hurt!

If you do anything in the registry be sure to make a backup of it 1st or create a system restore point if you are using Windows XP.

Quite agree, John - good point. VCOM's utility is very safe, though - won't let you do anything without warning you first.
