Does anyone know if you can use any version of sonic stage on an Imac, i have 'acquired' a hd1 and bemused to find that apparently this cant be done.

if this is true does that mean i need to buy a new windows pc to convert by cd's into mp3 and put them on my hd1

I am not entirely sure how it works, as I don't own a mac myself - but I am sure you can run an emulator on your mac, which will allow you to run windows and sonic stage.

That's right - the emulator is called VirtualPC, and works well for most things (if s-l-o-w-l-y sometimes). Not tried it with SS and an HD1/3 though, but I see no reason why it won't work. Depending on age, the iMac might not have USB2, which will make transfer slow too.
