ive got a JVC Digital Video Camera and i stupidly lent it to a "friend" who told me that they had to stop using it because the battery was flat, more likely they've had to stop using it because they dropped it

the cam corder wont focus now and its stuck at the outmost point of its optical zoom, a clicking noise can be heard from the motor making me think that something has become disconnected (a gear or something)

do places exist to fix these things as i dont fancy trying to do it myself

any suggestions for places that will fix it?
