Hiya, running san Onkyo receiver (forget the model no. but it was approx£400) for 8 months now, so still in warranty. What has recently happenned is that the sound is coming out of front left and rear left at a tremendous volume, whereas front right and rear right have nothing coming out of. Test tone reveals all speakers working perfectly with sound coming out of each speaker at the same volume.
Presume its the amp not working correctly but I'm wondering if it could possibly be something to do with the settings (amp went funny shortly after kids were messing with it:rolleyes: )

Anybody have any idea what could be wrong . . .

    Cheers

Pesky kids. If all test tones working ok, could it be your source? Do you have the same problem on all your inputs, DVD, CD etc.

Yup, same problem with all sources.
Kids go to bed in an hour or so, so will get to grips with the bloody thing then!
