    My computer keeps crashing and i keep getting the following message.
    Can anybody shed any light on this for me please.

    (Warning! System has crashed by over-clocking, The host clock is temorarily set to default HW frequency)

    Have you actually overclocked?
    Check the settings for FSB etc in your BIOS setup.
    Overclocked Gfx card?
    What CPU do you have?

    Seems a strange message to be honest. If you get a crash due to overclocking it tends to be heat related - and then the system just hangs/crashes - you don't get time to put up an error message.

    I'd also run a virus/spyware check
