Hi all, took a few shots of the PS3 and the 360 with a thermal imaging camera to see where and how much heat they actually pump out.
Sorry about the poor quality, I had to take them through the thermal camera with my digicam.
The first one shows my (messy) setup.
The PS3 is running the dash and the 360 HD DVD is playing a DVD.
This one shows them both from a thermal image.
This one is a closer shot of the PS3, the hottest spot I could find was coming out of the vents on the right hand side and measured 49 degrees.
This is a closer shot of the 360 and the hottest part I could find on this was the vent on the top right hand side which measured 44 degrees.
So, there you go, not exactly scientific but interesting none the less.
