Some help please......

I`m currently sat on my sofa listening to some CD`s
My set up

Marantz ud 7006
Pioneer sclx 83 (set to CD, analog direct)

Everything was fine but I`ve just noticed that it`s started playing thru my right hand speaker only, then went back to playing thru both & has just gone back to right only again 8(
I`ve tried the basic`s all connections are good, even run the auto set up & all speakers are working fine so now it`s either the pioneer or Marantz.
What would be the next step?

Cheers Martyn

Have you tried swopping the right speaker for the left in order to determine whether its an issue with the speaker or one with the AV receiver? If the speaker isn't at fault then it could be a dry joint somewhere onboard your AV receiver and this really needs someone who knows what they are doing to have a look at it.

Also try a different audio source using the same inputs you use for the CD player. Does the issue not occur in relation to any other inputs or sources?
