I need to tap into the expertise, knowledge etc of this forum.
I have been putting together my system bit by bit and am now stuck on the speakers.
I have a Philips 32PF9986 screen, a Sony RDRGX300 DVD Recorder and am getting a Yamaha DSP AX750se amp. So far so good. Now what speakers should I add?

I don't have a very large room; space is a premium.

The screen is going to be wall mounted with some space immediatly under fora centre speaker as long as it is small.

Front speakers can be larger, either floor or bookshelf.

I am mostly interested in the video sound, not likley to use it much for music, although this needs to be ok.

Mrs Bear has insisted on a light wood finish (which stops the Mission M30, my first choice). She doesn't want silver finish either.

    Budget £500-700

So over to you..... what would work??? :lease:
    Thanks

A lot of people have ordered without problems. I think Stinky recently ordered a Yamaha 1500 from TechnikDirect.

Is. it worth it? The price difference for the AX750 is only £60 and I'm not convinced by the Canton CD1s. I am keener on the Mordaunt Short Premiere Plus with the 309 sub. Or maybe MAs.

What about the MS Genies in black? £799 so a tad over-budget but def worth it.
