I'm in the market for a 32-37" LCD TV and have been researching prices.
I thought I'd share them with you as it maybe of some help. My criteria is <£1700, LCD and HD Ready (1366 x 768 + HDMI/DVI with HDCP)

I'm now gonna go for the Hitachi 32LD7200 or maybe hang fire until I've seen the Sagem HD-L32T in action.

The prices won't be right - even perhaps tomorrow and the comments in brackets are reminders to me some about TV's I've seen in action - others just pointers as to why they are on the list..... I've not looked into all of the screens on the "Sticky" at the top of this forum - just the ones I'm interested in seeing. Maybe it's of help - maybe it's not.

Would this not have been better displayed in the LCD forum, where more readers would tend to congregate?
Ask one of the mods via PM to move it, if you agree that it's more LCD related than purely HD.

There is nothing wrong with posting it here. It relates to HDTV nicely.

As mentioned - because its specifically HD - I thought it better here. I take it I can't double post and just copy and paste it into the LCD forum?

Check out the Viewpia range from Cleardragon.. I have the 37" model and it cost £1300.. have had it for 6 weeks approx and I cant yet fault it.. HD material looks awsome.. but then I suppose it will on any HD ready LCD screen..

    cheers!

JUst followed up on the Viewpia stuff - looks fantastic value for money. 37" for £1300 - 42" for £1600 - wow. Seriously impressive. Any chance of posting some pictures of it in action? You can pm for an email address if you like.

    I've PM'ed you anyway.

This isn't a HD Ready TV though. I agree this should really be moved to the LCD forum as pecifically about LCDs and not HD in general.

I bought a Viewpia 42" LCD from cleardragon.com a few weeks ago and it is fab. I bought LCD as enjoy consoles and did not want Burn In concerns of plasma. And a 3 year warranty.

It is a good screen, and fabulous value for what you get. Amazing with laptop plugged into it, cannot wait for HD quality XBOX 360.
