I like the way hay bails look in the summer, I have seen some fantastic pictures of them too at various places, so, I thought i'd have a go!

    Comments welcome.

Excellent Steve, I'e got 3 days off next week so was hoping to get out and do something like those. Did you use the Sigma wideangle lens for these ?

The first 4 were with the 10-20mm John. I slapped on the 18-200 for the last one, and some more i'm just doing now :)

Some crackers there Steve. I especially like nos 1 and 4. The colours are really bright and clear and leap out of the monitor at me. They would both look good printed and framed.

Bales or Bails, that is the question.

    I'm not sure myself

Thanks for the comments. The majority of those were shot on manual, which I am just starting to get used to a little now.

The first one is my favourite. Were you using a polarizer on the hay shots? That sky is really nice.

No, no filters at all. I did adjust the levels in Photoshop to bring the sky out a little more though, then a sharpen and a border added.

    I'll have a crack at a mono one :)

Some lovely shots there Steve :smashin:
There were fields and fields of bales everywhere down in Cornwall last week but I didn't have a chance to stop and take a few pics :(
