    I have been looking for some demo games to download ,i have tried a few but most seem not to work at all once downloaded.
    I'm not after a thinking mans game just something i can just run around and shoot stuff.
    Any advice on what to download and where from would be appreciated.

    I use Gamespot for my downloads. Some recommendations are the Battlefield 2 demo, Half-Life 2 demo and the more recent F.E.A.R demo

    As pointed out Gamespot - I also use http://www.3dgamers.com and http://www.fileplanet.com - both requre a free membership (fileplanet has an optional payment for faster downloads.

    Definately get FEAR (wow)! As for the HL2 demo, you'll need to install Steam (www.steampowered.com) & install the demo via the steam app. You should also try "Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory" - nice.

    Thanks both , i have downloaded steam and i'm downloading Battlefield 2 from gamespot at the moment.I will look into the others later on.

    I have downloaded Battlefield 2 demo but it doesn't work at all ,when i come to run the game the screen goes back the harddrive kicks in and after a few seconds it just shuts down,mybe i might have other problems. :confused:
