Some advice please ?

    Yeah - I just looked at that - it seems the display would be 300" from where I have my current projector mounted.

    I guess that makes it real simple to decide then :)

    Think the 750 is ultra short throw with no zoom, not sure how far back your pj is now?

    If it was me I'd go 1080p first or save for a 1080p 3D model.

    Im in need of a new projector.

    My benq 622 has got white spots appearing on the display. I expect I could get it repaired, but i thought id just replace it instead. Its 3 years old and got almost 6000 hours on it.

    So im now torn between 2 optoma models.

    The gt750 and the HD230 models

    I use it mostly for gaming (I have 360 and PS3) but I do watch a chunk of films.

    Whilst im not fussed about 3d I guess it wouldn't hurt to have it - more games and movies are getting the 3d treatment so...

    The 750 has super bright display, but the 230 is 1080p.

    Anyone offer any advice or experience of these 2.
