Some advice on speaker package

Evening all

Finally my wife has agreed to let me upgrade our speakers (currently using old speakers from a Sony DAVS-550 :-(

I have a budget of £1000 for 5 speakers and a sub. They will be connected to my Sony STR-DG910 Amplifier and will be used for a Sky HD Box, XBOX 360 and Panasonic BD30 Blu Ray Player.

Problem is the size, they gotta be small (I looked at the KEF 3000SE but that was a no go from the missus.

I am taken with the Anthony Gallo Nucleus Micro package (cheapest found £850 + £100 for the brackets). They would be perfect for me but don't know anyone that can vouch how good they are.

Would be grateful for any help in my search.

Have you looked at the Monitor Audio Radius range? These are a good speaker althought they may not be the best match for your Sony amp (try to get a demo to confirm the sound is something you like).
Also have a look at Focal Dome speakers. These may be a little over budget but with a different sub and some hagling it may be possible.
