Looking for some advice/recommendations on a pre-built system as I'm out of the loop at the moment with no time to build.

This is for my daughter for a mix of schoolwork and gaming.

Daughter saw this Acer Preditor Orion, £1K. Doesn't look great to me so looking for recommendations.

Try Overclockers UK, they have plenty of options starting from 599.

Seems expensive compared to
Keep an eye on HUKD they always have some good ones

Yeah ODB keep an eye on Sarden's posts on there, his English is wacked out but you can get the gist of what is what eventually. Recently he’s posted some builds with a 3070 and a much better cpu than what your daughter has seen, more than a thousand for sure but not by a crazy amount.

Also you aren’t buying a budget machine for that kind of money, don’t let them fob you off with a measly 256gb ssd, any build worth it's salt will have a 1tb included.

I'd personally if for a kid get a cheap monitor off hukd. They had a 27" 165hz 1440p for £100 the other day and a gaming laptop from Lenovo. If you really want a pre build then again Lenovo seem to offer the best value for money.
