    Hi,
    65" LG C6OLED now sold . Thanks.
I have for sale a brand new, never opened (factory sealed) LG C6 65" OLED TV. I bought the TV from Currys in February 2017 ready to use in my new game room extension (once I finish building it). I now want to sell the TV as I'm put off by the screen burn/image retention issues associated with OLED Tv's when used for gaming. Once sold I will buy a FALD set instead.
The LG C6 is a great TV and has plenty of great reviews. It's stand out features include a curved screen, fantastic 3D, 4K, HDR and a great smart TV platform (webOS 3). Payment by bank transfer only. The purchase receipt will be included with the sale. I can deliver if needed but prefer the buyer to collect.

    Price and currency: £2350

Delivery: Delivery cost is not included
    Payment method: Bank transfer
    Location: Bridlington East Yorkshire UK
    Advertised elsewhere?: Advertised elsewhere
Prefer goods collected?: I prefer the goods to be collected

    Really?
What about image retention? Even short term? I have seen a few youtube videos showing screen burn.

Another thumbs up for gaming on OLED here. I've got an E6 which I game on and have had no problem with image retention or screen burn.

I did however buy an ex-display E6 from Currys before this one and it had been sat for about 12 hours a day on maximum brightness with a big logo left on the screen. They also pulled the mains plug every night rather than putting it into standby where the screen goes into a "refresh cycle" mode. Needless to say after 4 months that screen was wrecked so it's just about being sensible.

Thanks for your reply. I'm really pleased your not having any issues with your E6 :)

As a keen Zelda fan I can play all day (6-7 hours easy). I really don't want those health hearts burning into my Oled screen. If I could go back in time I would not have bought the OLED I would have got a FALD tv so I guess it's still available for sale.

Hi yes this can be mounted but I'm not interested in a trade for a Sony. I have my heart set on a Philips 65pus7601. Thanks for your interest.

No problem, not even sure what my TV is worth but spent quite a bit on it and the sound bar but really want an OLED now with a Atmos sound bar.

You say you'd like a FALD TV, interested in a trade for a Samsung 65 inch KS9500? Only a few months old, 5 year warranty. :)

Thanks for the offer but I have my heart set on a Philips 65pus7601. As a long time ambilight owner I really don't want to be without it.

Hi @Happy Android hope you are well.

Could you kindly confirm the warranty situation with the TV please.

Hi and thanks for your interest on the TV.
The short answer is I don't know where we stand with regard to warranty. I have the receipt but I doesn't say. There is a phone number that I can ring tomorrow and get better information.
I need to ask how long the TV is under warranty and if the warranty is transferable. I assume there is a form in the sealed box to register the TV with LG to claim a warranty with them? 2 years I would assume?
    I'll know more tomorrow.

I called Currys today regarding the warranty. They told me that the TV is covered by LG for the first 12 months and then by Currys for the next 4 years after that. They also told me that the warranty is transferable :)
So the TV is covered until Feb 2022. Currys are going to confirm this info by email with in 3 working days.

I was saving up for one of these - managed to gather together £1250 in Currys gift cards, but it looks like they no longer stock this model!

Would the gift cards interest you, as part payment? They're split 470, 470, 190 and 120.

Sorry but I can't accept the vouchers as my next TV (philips 65pus7601) isn't available from Currys.
    Sorry.
