    Hi.
I have a Panny TU-DSB31 which has never been used. I have been unable to do a forced download to update the software, and have been told by Sky that it is too out-of-date to do this. Is there anyway of updating the software by any other means?
    Thanks for any help
    Peter

Yes, you have to leave it plugged in and connected to the LNB for 3 months. Or you can send it to Michael. I know he can fix this.

    Thanks for the reply Simon.
If I leave it plugged in and connected to the LNB for 3 months, will this guarantee to update? It seems a little strange to me, as sky say the present software is so old that it cant be up-dated via the satellite. Can you explain how it works, please? If I send it away to be up-dated, is it likely to cost more than the box is worth?
    Thanks again
    Peter
