can someone please advice on what is the best windows XP software for playing HD Transport streams, at the moment I'm using On air HD and DVHS tool, which though fine aren't exactly the last word in seamless high quality playback. I beleive the latest version of WinDVD 7 does play TS files, has anyone had any experience of this?

I use Nero Showtime aswell, and it is good.

VLC Media Player also works fine.

Thanks I tried Theatertek and seems to work a treat, do you know whether it supports subtitles on ts files? I haven't been able to get it work however I'm not sure whether the tS file I was watching had subtitles
