  :D Mine arrived today!! Thanks to the helpful folks at AV-Sales. :smashin:

Only problem is I ordered it with a wall mount so I'll have to wait until the weekend before I can tackle the installation and report back to you folks on my impressions of the screen. :(

Just as you get all this lovely kit together, you realise that you've got a hell of a job getting a wall bracket up on a plasterboard wall........... where's that installation thread again......I hate DIY.... :suicide:

I'll post some pics once I get it sorted

    Congrats!

If I wasn't going to study in a 2 weeks time, that would be my new TV also! Think I'll have to settle for the PWD7... but I'm sure I'll like that one too.

Yep - that was my first choice until this one was released.

You might say that I should have chosen the PWD7 cos I'd at least seen it with my own eyes. I've not yet seen the PWD8 in action (sitting in the box in my lounge) but I'm relying (hoping) on it being at least as good as the 7 :)

Hehe, I would bet it looks just as good, or even better than the PWD7 ;) I'm just hoping that I can move in to my flat soon, so I can order my TV!!

Any good advice concerning wall mouting, on a REALLY bad/weak wall? :D

Being delivered Tuesday with an Iscan HD scaler.

Will be a few days before I get it up and running though, got to put it on the wall

Better check my insurance policy for accidental damage :)
