I have the R2 copy of Signs. which has DTS clearly daubed all over the cover. But when played it's always DD, with no sign (groan) of DTS availability at all.

    Anybody have any clues?

    Here's what to do!

Upon loading the disc a lanuage screen will appear. Select the lanuage you require and the main menu screen will be presented. click on the set up option and you will be taken to a further screen with the thx optimizer logo. Select lanuages again. It's on the top left of the picture. You will then get a further screen which gives you the dts option.
    Great soundtrack. Enjoy!

...You could also check to see if your DVD player has an 'audio' button. It should allow scroll through all the audio tracks on the disc whilst it is playing.
