Now HD is dead and its Blue Ray players that will continue when can we expect most disks for sale and to rent to be in Blue Ray, are we still a few years away from Blue Ray being the standard format for everything.

i think we are still a long way away from blu-ray been the only format at blockbusters, there is still life in the SDdvds

To be honest i dont think it ever will. I just dont think the format has the life in it to last long enough to overtake DVD. I think higher speed net downloads will gain ground and stunt BR uptake.

Blu Ray will never dominate places like Blockbuster or anywhere else selling it. There is just too many DVD players around now. Downloading won't ever get near taking BD over either. In the future, I am sure all three will sit nicely together getting whatever customers they can get.
