other than the ones you mentioned, I am keeping my fingers crossed that The Assassination of Jesse James by The Coward Robert Ford is region free! Will rent Death Sentence and 3:10 To Yuma to see if they are worth purchasing.

I dunno if it's been announced, but I would hope it's released this year. If not, I know the PS3 game is scheduled for this year so that should keep me going....

    Lord Of The Rings Trilogy
    Indiana Jones Trilogy
    Star Wars Trilogy ( Epissodes 4,5 and 6 )
    E.T.
    Alien Quadrilogy

There are probably quite a few more but those are the main ones. The Lord Of The Rings movies are definitely my most anticipated for HD releases.

I'd go along with LOTR and SW etc but if we're talking about films that are announced and due shortly then I quite fancy getting 30 days of night - the trailer looked really good.

What recent developments are you talking about ? If you're referring to the announcement that Warner is going exclusively to blu-ray I don't see what relevance that has as they have until now released the majority of their movies on both blu-ray and HD-DVD. The only exceptions I can think of are the Matrix Trilogy and Batman Begins. The Matrix Trilogy was due to a technical issue with blu-ray and not out of choice.

I'm looking forward to all of these on HD but will settle for HD-DVD if that is the only option as I have the HD-DVD add on for the 360. I would prefer them on blu-ray and it's quite possible that might happen. I've heard of rumours that Universal is not going to renew their exclusive HD-DVD contract. If that does happen then we may well get all these films on blu-ray.

Another one I forgot to add was The Chronicles Of Narnia. I'm really looking forward to that one in HD and hopefully Disney does a great job.
