....Just minding my own biz, buying blank CD's. At the checkout I notice they have bundles of Toshiba DVD RAM Drives. There was no price on the display (obviously knocked of by one of the many kids running around driving their Dads mad). I ask the check out girl to find the price. SHE ENTERS TOSHIBA DVD ROM, and quotes me £49.

    DONE!

You would not believe how happy I was, especially when I noticed the real price whilst leaving the store.

Jeepers, I'd have bought 3! Maybe more! :)

What was the real price? I've been meaning to upgrade my old Panasonic LF-D101 which doesn't support 9.4Gb carts :(

I should of gotten more, but I was so impressed with the sales assistants lack of enthusiasm that I thought it was best to not push my luck...

The Price was £200 (I think).

It came with a free Type II blank disc, so it can be removed from the cartridge after recording. Most impressive.
