Really good shots there, great detail and nice cropping... what camera/lens did you use for the different pictures? and can ya describe some of the post processing.

Camera and lens is a Canon 300d with a sigma 70-300mm Super macro APO II lens

post processing was mainly getting the levels and sharpness right, ive always been poor at that, one of the mods on the forum showed me how to do it, the full technique can be found HERE its easier to show you than to right it all out again!

Good pics - I like the shaft of light as the grass comes into focus in the squirrel shot, with the shallow DOF working well. I have the same lens for my D70 and for the money it's a real peach.

Really great shots, are they as beautifully sharp full res printed out as they are on screen? Masterful use of a great cheap lens!

Yes! I printed out the 3 and was very surprised at how well they came out, not only cos normally my shots are a bit flat, but also cos i was using budget ink! Probably will have faded by tomorrow evening, lol

    thanks again guys!
