Hi, I just got a snes and I can't get the thing to work on my plasma (Panasonic th42pe30), works grand on other older tvs. I tried using a scart as well as the standard rf lead. Anybody out there know what I could do?

I'll definitely be using my SNES on my plasma when I get it, so I'll be interested to know if there's any problems using this.

    Best console ever made!

Have you got a proper scart lead? I think some of the snes scart leads weren't fully wired for rgb.
I had one which had a switch to flick between rgb and composite.
Also, either the snes or the n64 didn't output rgb unless they were converted (I think it was the n64 though).

I think I'll have to hunt down an rgb scart for the SNES as the one I have I don't think is. Will keep you posted on any updates. Dying to play mario kart in 42 inch glory. To answer your question, the SNES is pound for pound the best games console ever.
