    Hi,

Before I tackle 150 as not hoping to get a sensible answer from them, does anyone know if Virgin Media provide a direct SMTP feed for us to use local Exchange Servers and have email routed directly to them, instead of the POP3 mailboxes provided by them?

Or should I just register my own domain with someone who offers full SMTP mail forwarding - any suggestions?

    Thanks/...

Register a domain then you're not tied in to any one ISP. You'd need a dynamic DNS provider though as you can' get a static IP on Virgin (maybe if you're abusiness customer perhaps).

Change the MX record in your mail domain to point to the dynamic DNS entry, tell that to forward mail on to your router then port forward your router to send incoming mail to the Exchange box.

    Simple eh ;)
