Smash Bros Melee Vs Brawl

So whilst I wait for new smash bros to come out,which would you recommend to pick up??ive had brawl and liked it but I'm hearing Melee was the best smash bros to date!So which best to buy?graphics v gameplay?

Melee is probably better balanced, but Brawl wins hands-down for graphics, modes and the sheer amount of content included.
