    CD-WOW have season 1 & 2 for £20.49 each on R2+R4.

I am also looking fo these cheaper if anyone know where on either R1 or R2? I can't afford either of these yet as have overspent on DVDs this month :(

www.dvdfromkorea.com have the first three seasons in Region 3 for $21.99 - $22.99 USD which is pretty cheap - although postage is an extra $9.99 per box, so the total price works out to about £18-£19 per boxset

They're more than worth it though. Great series. Can't wait for Season 5 to start.

Anyone know what the R3 sets look like? (want them to match up with the R2 set of the first season i have) and also are there any cuts to the seasons? (one reason why im always reluctant to buy R3, they tend to cut stuff which is on the R1/R2 sets)

From the pics on the site the packaging looks identical to the UK/US releases.

As for cuts, I have never had a Region 3 DVD that was cut and in most cases they have been identical to their Region 1/2 counterpart (i.e. I Robot, The Day After Tomorrow, AvP) and according to KoreanDVDs, films in Korea are only subject to censorship when it involves nudity and violence and I doubt anything in Smallville is strong enough to warrent being cut.

Speaking of KoreanDVDs, I have just spotted that they have Season 2 and 3 of Smallville at $21.98 each which is cheaper than dvdfromkorea but I dont know if they charge more for shipping, anyone know?

The R2-R4 boxes are different than the rest, they come in hard plastic cases, kinda like normal dvd cases but just bigger.

Sounds like an M-lock case which the re-released X-Files sets came in which had room inside for 6 discs plus a booklet.

The UK sets are fold out digi-packs but due to the low price I wouldnt be suprised if the R3 releases were also in M-lock cases but then again they could be foldout sets, there is no way to know without more detailed pics.

Yea thats the pain, i have region 2 for season 1 and season 2 region 2-4 and my season 3 is region 1 :(

All 3 are different :(, i hate the region 1 version, it just seems very cheap to me.

when i get the cash i think i will get them all again but in the same region (might even get them region 3 jobbies there at that price), i hate having boxsets with different cases so you can imagine how annoyed i am to have 1 tv show with 3 different cases :(

I like the M-Lock cases in all honesty, they are nice and sleek :), but i like the cardboard pullout as well.

My Smallville Season 1 R2 is an M-Lock case. Was disappointed that S2 and S3 didn't follow suit.

I take pride in what my dvd selection looks like though ;).

The boxsets are all out on display, if it does not look right it goes under the bed in the draws.
Is it ?? where did you get that from ?

Mine is a Fold out cardboard case and thats the only one i thought was sold for Region 2.

Unless you have the Region 2-4 from cd-wow (thats the season 2 i have)

I got all mine in HMV. It might have been that the first run had the M-Lock cases. They're much better. Just a pity Seasons 2 and 3 didn't have them.

No - it's 3 Amaray cases in a slipcase, which I have to be honest, I think I prefer.

Any updates on good prices for Smallville boxsets please?

I have not got any season yet, so I do not care about matching packaging.

    Thanks.

The R3 Korean Boxsets were quite cheap several months ago at about £18 each, I dont know whether they are still at that price though.

If you go on amazon.co.uk marketplace theres a reliable seller selling them brand new region 1 for about £23 with delivery or theres one with alot of feedback but looks a bit dodgy selling them used but shrink wrapped as he states for about 18 delivered

Thanks. I looked at the Korean site and the ones were out of stock. Then I went to CD-WOW, but they weren't amazing prices either.

I know there is no difference between Region 1 and Region 2, so it isn't as though I'll have to ignore UK e-tailers on this occasion.

Maybe they'll be a promotion sometime soon!

I love Smallville... have seasons 1 to 3 R2 UK (all 6 are in singular plastic holders, in the one bigger cardboard case, if that makes sense.

Just wandering.. how many times will people watch this series over and over again??

its alot of money to spend... (I'm considering getting Season 4...)

Danjag... I may sell mine!!! All brand new & MINT!

Yes, I know what you mean, but when boxsets are under £20, I don't mind buying them!
