Having just finished Season 3 on DVD (the finale was awesome  ) i've been scouring the net for Season 4.

Best i can find is DVDSoon at $49.98 CAD which converts to just £22.99! although there is a risk of customs charges.

Apart from that movietyme have it at £29.99

    Cheers Rob

I have read the warnings but have never had a problem with them myself. however i do tend to go with other suppliers now, such as Play and Movietyme.

Forget DVD Soon. I bought 1,000+ discs from them without problem, but in the last few months there are MAJOR problems.

Got this from Amazon USA for about £21.00. Arrived last week with no customs charges. Everything I've bought from Amazon USA recently has come without customs charge, as they tend to route deliveries through their German or French operations, thus avoiding customs.

Does the above statement also apply to books bought by Amazon US? Do they also route these through their European warehouses? :D

There is no VAT charged on books in the UK so you will not get hit for customs.

Shipping on the Smallville box set was about $6 US.

No VAT, but you may get hit on import duty.
This isn't a stated policy with Amazon USA. There is no guarantee where they will ship from. Occasionally one of my orders ships from the USA, but more often than not they come through one of their European addresses.

As I stated above, in the past 18 months or so I have not taken a single customs hit on Amazon product.
